Electrical design services for 60,000 square foot tenant improvement of a top-of-the-line internet data center, including five paralleled 1,500 kW emergency generators, two electrical services, nine 500 kVA parallel-redundant UPS systems with associated PDA's, underfloor distribution to racks/cabinets/suites, and lighting systems.

 

Freightliner Data Center Emergency Systems

Portland, Oregon

Electrical design services for upgrades to the existing power and emergency power systems primarily supplying a world headquarters data center, including a 1,500 kW emergency generator, new electrical service, and two 500 kVA UPS systems with associated PDA's. Created a Tier 4 Electrical System Topology.

Electrical and mechanical design services for a new data center, including UPS, PDU's, and backup generator systems.

 

Matsushita Electronic Materials

Forest Grove, Oregon

Phase 2 Expansion: Provided electrical and mechanical design services for a 24,000 square foot plant expansion and fit-up for printed circuit board material manufacturing plant. Mechanical systems included cooling water, thermal fluid, CDA, HVAC, and plumbing. Electrical systems included power, process instrumentation and control raceways & cables, lighting, and fire alarm.

 

Epson Portland Inc.

Hillsboro, Oregon

Phase I Ink Cartridge Remodel: Provided mechanical design services for a 7,100 square foot remodel including design of 5,600 square foot Class 10,000 clean room with gowning room and material storage. Modifications of compressed air and process vacuum systems.

Phase 2 Ink Cartridge Addition: Provided mechanical and electrical design services for a 60,000 square foot addition including 23,200 square feet and 8,000 square feet Class 10,000 clean rooms with supporting equipment spaces, material storage, mechanical spaces and unclassified manufacturing space. Mechanical systems included 4 process vacuum systems, CDA, pure water, process waste, mold machine cooling water, plant air, ink piping systems, process exhaust, air handling systems, and chiller. Electrical systems included additional electrical service, gutter distribution system for manufacturing equipment, mold machine connections, lighting, and fire alarm.

 

Mitsubishi Silicon America Arsenic Growing Room Expansion

Salem, Oregon

Provided mechanical design for a Class 10,000 clean room including arsenic duct collection system, process vacuum piping system, housekeeping vacuum system, cooling water and compressed air piping systems, nitrogen and argon piping systems, gas-fired make-up air system, and HEPA ceiling system.

 

Japan Aviation Electronics

Tualatin, Oregon

Provided mechanical design for 29,000 square foot manufacturing and shipping addition and remodel of the electronics assembly/machine room.

 

Toshiba Ceramics America Expansion

Hillsboro, Oregon

Provided mechanical design services for interior improvements of existing building shell to create 5,000 square foot Class 10,000 clean room for quartz glass crucible manufacturing, and an upgrade of the plant cooling water system.

 

Sharp Microelectronics Technology

Camas, Washington

LCD TFT Assembly:  Provided mechanical design services for a 11,700 square foot, Class 10,000 clean room for liquid crystal display (LCD) assembly. Systems included air handlers with hydronic heating and cooling coils, duct mounted humidifiers and HEPA ceiling filters.

Engineering Lab:  Provided mechanical design services for a 4,000 square foot, Class 100 clean room including low temperature chilled water system, heating water system, CDA system, process cooling water system, and process vacuum system. Air handling systems included make-up air with humidification and dehumidification and recirculating air handlers with direct drive plug fans and HEPA ceiling modules.

Process Technology Lab:  Provided mechanical design services for a 2,000 square foot Class 100 clean room and remodel of existing unimproved office space. Included new scrubbed exhaust and process vacuum systems and expansion of house vacuum system. Air was supplied by recirculating air handlers with chilled water coils and HEPA ceiling modules.

Sharp Laboratories of America Building: Provided mechanical design services for a 55,000 square foot office building.
